There are more 6 critical steps for cleaning and disinfecting dental instruments:

1-Pre-soaking

After using the instruments some biologic debris like (blood), left on instruments may dry out and harden.

So, Using Enzymatic Solutions are an effective option that can easily break down any buildup

2-Manual  Cleaning

3-Ultrasonic Cleaning

Placing the instruments in an ultrasonic cleaner is very important prior to sterilization to remove blood,saliva and other debris from instruments.

4-Drying

Prior to sterilization in an autoclave,

It’s critical to dry the instruments thoroughly.

5-Packaging

The last step before placing instruments in the sterilizer is to package them with wraps or pouches .

6-Instruments  Sterilization

By loading the instruments into the autoclave.
